LitigationLawyer.in is an independent Indian legal information and litigation news publication. This page explains, in one place, who we are, what we cover, how we work, and — importantly — what we are not.
An independent legal publication
LitigationLawyer.in reports and explains the Indian legal landscape: judgments from the Supreme Court of India and High Courts, tribunal decisions of wider significance, new legislation and policy, legal profession news, and educational content on the Indian legal system. We work in the tradition of independent Indian legal journalism — the register of LiveLaw, Bar and Bench, LawBeat, and Legally India.
Not a law firm
Despite our domain name, LitigationLawyer.in is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, represent clients, or solicit work for any advocate. “LitigationLawyer.in” is the name of a publication, not a generic reference to litigation lawyers as a profession or an offer of representation. For advice on your situation, consult a qualified advocate. Our full positioning is in our BCI Compliance Notice.
What we cover
Our coverage is organised into eight verticals: Supreme Court, High Courts, Legislation & Policy, Legal Education, Legal Profession, Analysis & Opinion, Guides & Resources, and Practice Area News.
How we work
Every article carries a named human byline and cites its sources. Judgment coverage verifies case names, benches, citations, and dates and leads with a Case Facts box. Educational content is clearly labelled as educational and never presented as advice. AI is never used to write analysis, opinion, or body prose. Errors are corrected publicly at /corrections/. See our Editorial Policy and Fact-Checking Policy.
