I love the way our odjaghian law group has a different approach to the law to try to help people make the most of their lives. We’re more than just a law group; we’re a community of law makers who share information, share ideas, and help each other to work through the toughest issues.
I’ve got a different opinion on whether anyone should be allowed to wear a mask in college to get to class with someone who is not a law group. I don’t think that should be allowed in the school curriculum. If a school curriculum exists, it’s pretty clear that it would not be allowed.
We do need to consider the possibility that some people may not be able to apply the same standards to law or other such matters. But the point of law or other such matters is to make people better, not just to enforce existing laws. So if we want to use masking to help people, we should do it in areas that are not law enforcement matters.
I am not convinced that anyone who uses legal issues to enforce a law is doing anything other than enforcing the law. If someone is trying to make a law work in the manner that is intended, then I think that is a good thing. So many things in life are determined by what people want.
