We are so used to thinking of something as an object that we don’t notice the relationships between objects. It’s easy to see why. But this is only true for things that we can directly measure. The eye is a perfect example of that. We can measure distance and time using the eye but not the other two.

This isn’t a law. Its a law of the eye. We can tell when something is moving because of the way our eyes focus on it. We can measure time using our eyes because we can directly measure time. However, the two are not the same. The only thing that is the same in both is that time is measured using the eye and that the eye is a perfect example of that.
