In my opinion, it is. But is it expensive? That’s a subjective question. But it is certainly not cheap to live in North Carolina.

As for the cost of living, we found that it ranges from about $60/month in the south of NC to well over $150/month in the north. We’re going to guess that the average price of a home is somewhere between $250/month and $750/month. This is more expensive than we’re used to.
